Richard is also in his 60’s, a professional yachtsman, ex-Royal Navy and has been a delivery skipper since 1991, delivering yachts to and from the UK, Ireland and European waters including the Med. “round the outside”, and via the Inland Waterway systems of the UK, Eastern, Central and Western Europe, and Holland and has done charter skipper work based in the Med. 
From 1994 - 2000 he sailed as Watch Officer on the Sail Training Association’s Tops’le Schooners “Sir Winston Churchill” and “Malcolm Miller”.
 

Skipper Chris Davies.
Yachtmaster Offshore in both sail and power with commercial endorsements. He also has qualifications in mechanical and electronic engineering.
Chris is 54yrs old and has spent a lifetime in and around boats. His experience varies from the mundane to the spectacular. He has been a radio officer for marconi marine on a tramp ship in the far east. He races 40ft sailing luggers off the Cornish coast and has worked as 1^st mate and as chief engineer delivering 2000 ton coaster out of the Cornish clay industry across the Atlantic to a new life in Miami Florida. He has his own 30 ton sailing vessel which frequently visits the French maritime festivals in Brittany.
